Stand alone modules
Briki is the perfect brick on your road from prototype to production, because it is easy to use, cheap, and already certified. The MBC is characterized by a standardized form factor and pinout in each module of the Briki Family.
Ready to use devices
The briki family expands and presents its first “ready to use” project. It is an object that takes advantage of Briki MBC technology, guaranteeing the user immediate use of all its benefits and features.

FAQ
Sure, Briki modules are perfect when you have to handle several tasks in parallel into your IoT product, but you do not have enough space to fit a complex electronic board. In just 38x16mm, the MBC module simultaneously performs control operations, complex calculation operations, and connectivity functions with different radio protocols.
Yes, Briki modules are open and highly flexible. Thanks to the special hardware and firmware architecture created by Meteca, the microcontrollers included in Briki products have a distinctive and unique “liquid communication” that goes beyond the classic and rigid master/slave configuration.
No, you’ll save a lot of R&D time by using Briki technology, and you’ll avoid to spend too much time building from scratch the hardware. With Briki, you would have R&D resources at no cost, using some of the most popular microcontrollers with ‘open’ documentation available online.
With Briki you can quickly move from the prototype to the product with zero modifications. The board you would use in prototyping is the very same one you will bring to production! The rapid prototyping boards offered by Meteca (ABC and DBC) are designed to accommodate the same MBC that would be included in the industrialized product.
Yes, Briki products are already certified and ready for production, ready for the European (ETSI/RED) and American (FCC) markets, with possible extensions into other markets (on request).
The Briki technology is developed with the Security-by-Design approach. The MBC-WB, in addition to hosting the ESP32 which already has interesting security qualities, could also mount a dedicated crypto-chip, the Microchip ECC608B, which allows you to extend security to the Cortex side of the board, as well as allowing to store keys and certificates for the major clouds currently available. All achievable easily and quickly thanks to the provided configuration software.
Yes, as they have compatible form factors and pinouts. They occupy the same geometric space and can be interchanged without damaging the board and/or compromising its functionality. 1-brick rather than 2-brick is a format identification that makes it easier to indicate the size of a module by taking its width (minimum size) as a reference. A 1-brick is the minimum width module, i.e. 16mm, so a 2-brick will have twice the width, i.e. 32mm. All 1-brick and 2-brick modules are compatible between modules of the same size.
All Briki products are by request as products for industrial use. Many of them are available in different versions by hardware configuration and functionalities. Depending on your design, you may prefer one version over the other. Contact us to find the best suited for you!
